What do I do...

As a travel advisor I work with the customer and assist them with their vacation or travel needs. I do not sell travel - I help people collect amazing experiences. This is really important as it is there vacation!


Some of what we do
All Inclusive Vacations

This vacation has all the components included - flights, hotel, transfer, insurance, meals, drinks - the customer arrives and has nothing to do but to have fun and relax.

There are several types of cruises - Ocean, River, Expedition - depending on the budget and what the customer is looking for.

Customized Itineraries

This type of travel can take longer to secure and set up and does require great attention to detail. These are your trips through Europe, usually starting in one city and traveling throughout to another.

Here is some important information to consider:

- You will be an Associate of Sundowner Travel Dream Vacations

- As an Associate you are a 1099 and responsible for your own taxes

- There are contracts and marketing forms to sign

- The fee is $495 for training

- Yearly fees are $150 for errors & omissions, and $100 annual fee

- Commission split

What does travel planning look like

As a travel advisor, I help people plan and book their vacations. I act as their personal travel concierge, taking care of all the details so you can relax and enjoy your trip.

Here are some of the things a travel advisor can do for you:

  • Helping to choose a destination: We recommend places to visit based on your interests, budget, and travel style. For example, if someone is looking for a relaxing beach vacation, I might suggest the Caribbean. If you're more adventurous, they might recommend trekking in Nepal or whitewater rafting in the Grand Canyon.
  • Booking travel arrangements: This includes flights, hotels, rental cars, and tours. I often have access to special deals and discounts that they wouldn't be able to find on your own.
  • Creating personalized itinerary: I plan the entire trip, from the moment they leave home until they return, making sure they see and do everything they want.
  • Offer insider tips and recommendations: I try to offer the best places to eat, the must-see attractions, and the hidden gems that most tourists miss.
  • Help them navigate any problems that arise: I am available 24 hours when customers are traveling...If their flight is canceled, luggage is lost, or they get sick, I am just a call away.
